AI readiness and strategy
- 03 Prioritise
- Problem
- We have scattered AI initiatives and don't know where to start.
- Result
- Priorities agreed by leadership, with the criteria written down.
Stage 3 of 6
Prioritisation and roadmap
The question
What should we prioritise?
You arrived from the home page with this situation: “We have pilots, but we can't scale them”. Choose another situation
Objective Turn the assessment into decisions and a roadmap.
Everything looks like a priority. Without a map of uses and risks, it is hard to separate what creates material exposure from what is truly worth scaling.
The 4-week assessment delivers the AI inventory, the risk map, the governance gaps, the data readiness and the 90-day roadmap. The prioritisation criteria and the decision model are defined with AI readiness and strategy, and the in-depth data map with Data and operations.
Week 1
Which AI systems are in use, who uses them and with what data. It is usually the first time the organisation sees it together.
1 / 4Week 2
The state of the data feeding each case, the rules in force, ownership, and the controls that already exist.
2 / 4Week 3 · This stage
Which gaps are material, which risks are urgent, and in what order they are worth resolving.
3 / 4Week 4 · This stage
What to do, in what order, with which owners, and what decisions leadership has to make.
4 / 4The weeks are phases of the assessment, not journey stages: weeks 1 and 2 belong to stage 02, Assess, and weeks 3 and 4 close this stage.
The client provides access to the areas involved and decides the priorities. AGORA facilitates, documents and holds the line on method.
The same 4-week assessment that starts in the previous stage: the inventory and the data map are built in weeks 1 and 2, and the prioritisation and the roadmap are closed in weeks 3 and 4.
You do not have to go through the six stages in order, or engage work at every stage. An organisation with systems already in production can come in at Govern or Operationalise; one that is just exploring usually starts by understanding and assessing.
